About Reptiles!!
Reptiles have skin covered by scales instead of skin or feathers. They live everywhere but Antartica. They sometimes bask in the sun. They lay eggs that have membranes around the eggs, which means they are amniotes. They are also tetrapods. Some species can have a live birth though.
Anaconda
The animal we chose to research further for Chordata - Reptiles is the anaconda. Anacondas reproduce sexually. A unique mating behavior they have is that they send out an aroma to attact the ladies. Anicondas are carnivores. They eat deer, wild pigs, birds, ocelot, other snakes, tapirs, sheep, dogs, and large rodents. Anacondas live in the tropics of South America. Anacondas' habitats are streams, rivers, swamps, and pools are the Amazon Rainforest. They adapted to survive by swimming in water. Anacondas can be 30 feet long.
